Our Philosophy

Ilmesters Academy follows a student centered teaching approach with the objectives to inquire and explore to make sure all our learning methods support student inquiry, exploration and discovery. Our aim is to produce minds that can handle the upcoming challenges, problems, issues of the world with peace, appropriate skills and attitudes. In order to achieve this aim, Ilmesters academy is working as an IB World School and pursuing programmes offered by International Baccalaureate.

Motivated to work for a tolerant and peaceful world, our mission is to create a learning environment that promotes intercultural understanding and helps young learners grow academically and personally as socially responsible citizens of the world.
Our challenge is to merge knowledge of a rich and diverse tradition of the openness and flexibility of an international curriculum and deliver it through an enthusiastic faculty that works collaboratively with students and parents.

Primary Year Programme (PYP)

Primary Years Programme is a curriculum framework designed for students aged 3 to 12. It prepares students for the intellectual challenges of further education and their future careers, focusing on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside.The curriculum is transdisciplinary, meaning that it focuses on issues that go across subject areas.

Middle Year Programme (MYP)

Primary Years Programme is a curriculum framework designed for students aged 3 to 12. It prepares students for the intellectual challenges of further education and their future careers, focusing on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside.The curriculum is transdisciplinary, meaning that it focuses on issues that go across subject areas.

Diploma Programme (DP)

Research suggests many benefits to choosing the DP. The programme aims to develop students who have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge – students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically. The DP curriculum is made up of six subject groups and the DP core, comprising theory of knowledge (TOK), creativity, activity, service (CAS) and the extended essay.
